Ski Chile Volcanoes Adventure is designed for those that have skiing as their top priority. This breath-taking 2 week trip combines unique ski experiences with the option of skiing from the summit of 7 volcanoes in 6 destinations, spanning the magnificent Lake and Volcano district of Southern Chile. Unlike most Chile ski trips, which are fly in - ski - fly out, this is ski Chile Snoworks Adventure style, with a bespoke programme that truly reflects the culture and uniqueness of this fascinating country.

New for 2011, we’ve opted for local ‘cabin’ accommodation and contracted in our own chef to accompany us throughout the trip making sure that skiing remains the number one priority whilst keeping costs down. This is spectacular skiing and scenery at its very best.

Skiing Level
Ski Chile is designed for competent off-piste skiers. (Snoworks Levels 5, 6 & 7). We’ve created an itinerary to cater for a difference in skill level and aspirations. At each destination you have the option of skiing off-piste accessed by mechanical uplift wherever possible, as well as the option of skinning, climbing and skiing from the summit of 7 volcanoes. 

Instruction / Guiding / Hosting
A Snoworks instructor will host the trip along with our local Chilean hosts from Amity Tours who also provide the local mountain guide, Guido and with whom we will organise the on-snow schedule. Groups will vary depending on the resort, the objectives of each day and the prevailing weather conditions.

On our Adventure trips, off-piste instruction to develop performance is balanced with off-piste experiences, with our instructors working more in a 'coaching role'. On some days the instructors may organise sessions aimed at developing off-piste performance, on others they will be organising assents of the volcanoes or searching out the best off-piste skiing accessed by mechanical uplift. Ensuring you have the best experience possible (and the safest) is always their top priority.
