Read our latest blog on All Terrain for intermediate skiers. Click here.
Q. I'm an intermediate skier - Your courses look too advanced for me, is this correct?
A. Absolutely not. This is the time to book on a ski course. If you're an intermediate skier you've arrived at the level where you can ski well piste terrain. Our level 3.
Our All Terrain level 3 is designed for intermediate skiers just like yourself. The whole purpose is to help you cope with conditions as the become more varied.
There are thousands of intermediate skiers that hit this plateau where they feel they are not improving still prefering ski school to a 'Ski Course'. Now is the time to book on a ski course. You'll never look back.
Q. I'm an intermediate skier and worried about coming skiing by myself. Should I be?
A. Don't be. About 80% of our clients come skiing by themselves. You can join in a group of skiers of a similar level and meet lots of other skiers.
Many of our clients have developed great friendships with skiers the've met on Snoworks Ski Courses. It's helped shape all their future skiing holidays. Now they can travel by themselves knowing there will be other skiers they know on the course. Don't hesitate, come by yourself.
Q. I'm an intermediate skier but worried that I will not be at the level required. What will happen if I'm not at the level?
A. If you can ski Blues whatever the conditions and easy Reds then you are at the level. In some cases when a skier has been below this level we have arranged alternative lessons in the resort. If this happens you can rest assured that we will organise the most suitable iinstruction in the resort for your level and you can still benefit from being part of the Snoworks group. Hopefully if this happens then the alternative lessons we organise will help you get to the right level for future Snoworks level 3 courses.
Q. I'm a more competent skier and my partner / friend is an intermediate skier. Can you cater for us both?
A. Absolutely. Our level 3 intermediate All Terrain Courses are always on weeks where we are running All Terrain Courses for higher levels. You can both slot into groups suitable for your own level.
Q. I'm a more competent skier and my partner / friend is an intermediate skier. Will our courses be at the same time?
A. The courses will be for 3 hours per day. Our instructors take a group iin the morning and a group in the afternoon. Therefore you may find that you are in a group in the morning and your partner / friend is in a group in the afternoon.
However we rotate groups so that everyone gets a chance to ski in the morning and the afternoon. So when we rotate groups your group will end up being at the same time as your partners for some of the sessions during the week.
You may find all of your sessions are at the same time or if we rotate groups then some of your sessions will be at the same time.
The only time this does not work is on a course when we run only 2 groups and the same instructor takes both sessions. In this case you the stronger skier could always join the lower level group with your partner or friend and work more technically.
Q. How do I find the courses for intermediate skiers on your website?
A. There are many options.
On the home page go to 'Find and Book a Course' then 'search by level' intermediate L3.
On the levels page follow the link on the level 3 description.
